2nd CALL FOR PROPOSALS (pdf)
If you missed the initial Call for Proposals that closed in November, we want to hear from you! In November, we received a robust round of submissions resulting in an exciting line-up for the GII 2026! (See below to get a taste of what’s on offer.)
We still have a few available slots left. We especially want to encourage proposals from up-and-coming practitioners, scholars, and performers; proposals from the global majority; and proposals from those working beyond Portland, Oregon, in other hotbeds of improv like Austin, DC, Minneapolis, Denver, LA, Philadelphia, the SF Bay Area, Seattle, Toronto, and Vancouver. If you hail from outside the U.S., the GII will make every effort to support your participation either in-person or as an online offering, if your proposal is selected. Submitting a proposal in the first round does not disqualify you from submitting again.
