BARBARA TINT

Barbara Tint, Ph.D.: Professor of Conflict Resolution at Portland State University, facilitator, organizational trainer, licensed psychotherapist, and an improviser. She has been involved in facilitating trainings using the techniques of Applied Improvisation since 2009 and has conducted workshops all over the world. She uses Applied Improvisation in training about Power and Status, Resilience for Climate Change Adaptation, Conflict Resolution, Organizational Leadership, Intercultural Relations and Gender Relations. She is Co-President of the Applied Improvisation Network (AIN), an international group of practitioners using Improv for a variety of non-performance based purposes.  Of all the modalities Barbara has worked with in her years as a therapist, professor, facilitator and student of life, she is convinced that Improv is the most transformational and joyful modality on the planet.
